Why are you staying open when Kentucky has a mandated “Stay at Home” order?
Good question. In Governor Beshear’s most recent orders, many business categories are listed as “Essential”. Auto Repair and Sales are identified as essential in the state of Kentucky.
We feel it is our obligation to continue to support our employees with jobs, while complying with government orders to keep our associates and guests safe.
Can I purchase a vehicle from Performance Lexus RiverCenter?
Yes! We are still capable of selling you a new, used or certified pre-owned vehicle. At this time, we are now allowing a limited amount of customers in our showroom, but can conduct all business over the phone, through text and email if you’d prefer. Our sales staff is available to assist you with any specific questions about a vehicle. Once you have identified a vehicle of interest, we can work through all your payment options with you in the showroom or over the phone.
Once the deal is finalized, we can offer vehicle delivery to your home or you can sign documents in a sterile, dedicated section of our facility where we mandate 10-feet of separation from a finance manager. Your vehicle will be fully sanitized prior to delivery, ensuring a safe and pleasant transaction. Video “deliveries” will allow our product specialists to show you the features of your new vehicle using FaceTime.
I’d like to test drive a vehicle. How would I go about that?
You can schedule a test drive with your product specialist. We are now allowing limited customers in the showroom, so you can test drive the vehicle from our dealership. If you’d prefer, we can bring the vehicle to you! A member of our staff will bring the vehicle of your choice to your home and allow for you to take a short test drive. Once you’ve concluded the test drive, you’ll be able to communicate with the product specialist over the phone or using FaceTime to answer any questions you may have!
All vehicles will be sanitized prior to your test drive, ensuring that you have a safe experience while exploring your future ride.
I’m not ready to purchase but would like to get an idea of how much a vehicle will cost me.
We understand that you may not be ready yet to make a purchase, but we’re still here to assist. We’ve deployed digital retailing tools on our website that will allow you to choose some specific details that will get you to a very good estimate of what your payment will look like.
Whether you’re looking to lease or need finance options, you have choices. Our online digital retailing tools are in place to make your online shopping experience fast, easy and convenient.
If you do find a vehicle of interest and a payment that you feel comfortable with, we encourage you to complete the vehicle purchase and financing from the comfort of your home. We can finalize all deals over the phone/chat if requested and then bring paperwork to you in a sealed envelope for signature. Of course, your delivered vehicle will have been cleaned and sanitized.
Can I service my vehicle at Performance Lexus RiverCenter?
Yes! We will continue to offer you vehicle service. Our service waiting area is now available on a limited basis, where we are promoting proper social distancing. However, we are still able to offer a no-contact method if that is your preference. Guests can pull into our service drive, and you will be met by an advisor – please maintain a 10-foot distance. You can elect to drop off your vehicle using our key drop box, or you can choose to schedule home pick-up and delivery if this is more convenient for you.
Online service scheduling will remain available on our website for your convenience where you can specify which way you would like us to serve you.
Our iService technology will be used to provide a technician-created video, then offer you the ability to approve and decline work using text messaging. You’re able to pay for service work securely through your phone as well. Your vehicle will be sanitized, and you will be notified when it is ready for you to pick-up or to schedule time for us to deliver the vehicle to your home.
I’m looking to sell my car. Do you purchase vehicles outright?
Yes! We will continue to offer our mobile, at-home vehicle appraisals to purchase your trade or vehicle outright – we will come to you. One of our professional vehicle appraisers will work with you to schedule a time and agreed upon location to meet. If the offer is accepted, we will get you a check and arrange for your vehicle to be transported.
My lease maturation date is nearing. What should I do?
